Watrous Valley HorsesWatrous Valley Ranch breeds and trains good, well-broke ranch horses. Our bloodlines include cutters, reiners, working cowhorses and ranch horse winners. We breed for color, strength, quickness, and above all, a good mind in our horses.
Watrous Valley Ranch owns, shows, and breeds Blue Savanah Holli (Buddy), our 2002 award winning homozygous black stallion by multi-million dollar prducer Mecom Blue. Most of our mares are bred to “Buddy” and because he is homozygous will produce foals with black or black points. "Buddy" also passes on his excellent mind and disposition for which he is known. |

Barret and Michelle Yates, manage the horse program and are well qualified at caring for, training and showing our performance horses and our general ranch remuda. We pride ourselves on horses that look good, are cooperative and gentle regardless of the task they perform.
